A veteran of over twenty five years in the financial services industry, Tom has been with Capital Analysts Incorporated since June, 1985 and joined KAF Financial Advisors, LLC in August, 2000.
 
As part of his commitment to the industry, Tom is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary®    (AIF®), a Certified Fund Specialist (CFS) and a Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS).  He was named one of the nation’s top 300 most influential retirement plan advisors by the 401(k)wire.com. He serves as Capital Analysts' representative on the Field Advisory Board of the Financial Service Institue, the national organization representing financial advisors and broker dealers in legislative issues.  He has served on the field advisory board for two mutual fund complexes and on the National Field Advisory Board of Capital Analysts Incorporated. In addition, he has qualified each year for Capital Analysts Incorporated’s Circle of Excellence since its inception in 1996. He is a member of the 401(k) Profit Sharing Council of America and the American Society of Pension and Retirement Professionals (ASPPA).
 
Active in the community, Tom is past President and Treasurer of the Hingham Sports Partnership, a board member of Hingham Youth Football and Notre Dame Academy and a founding board member of the Sean McDonough Childrens Charitable Foundation. Tom is also on the Corporate Council of the Hope Lodge of Boston. He coaches youth football and also serves as an auctioneer for charity fund raising events, having raised over $1,000,000.
 
Prior to his financial services career, Tom had a nine-year career with the New England Patriots (1976-85) as Director of Public Relations and as Business Manager. He served on seven NFL Super Bowl staffs and as Director of Public Relations for the 1985 NFL Pro Bowl in Hawaii. He holds a B.S. in Economics from St. Lawrence University (1975) and a MBA in Accounting from The University of Massachusetts at Amherst (1977) where he also served as a varsity graduate assistant football coach.
 
Tom and his wife Debbie reside in Hingham and are the parents of daughter Lindsey, twins Allison and Gregory and daughter Colby.
